When a Plate Wall Gets A Lot of Attention
2/11/2026

A few months ago, I shared a video of a plate wall I created.
It was simple. Intentional. Layered with pieces I loved. And then...it took off.
The views climbed. The shares rolled in. New faces started showing up here every single day. What started as me documenting something I genuinely love doing turned into something that reached far beyond my little corner of the internet.
Going "viral" is exciting - of course it is. But what's meant even more to me is who it has brought here. Because every view is a person. Behind every follow is someone who paused long enough to say "I like this. I resonate with this." And that's the part I don't take lightly.
I don't want to be just another trend. The internet moves fast. Trends come and go. But what I care about - what I've always cared about - is helping people embrace their own style.
Not what's trending. Not what everyone else is doing. Not what fills a space the quickest. But what feels like you.
A plate wall isn't special because it's popular. It's special because maybe those plates were collected over time. Maybe one was from your grandmother. Maybe one came home in your suitcase from a trip you'll never forget. Maybe one just made you smile at the thrift store and you just couldn't leave it behind.
That's what makes a home meaningful.
If I get to be a "trendsetter" in any way, I want it to be this: buying less, but choosing well. Filling your home slowly and intentionally. Mixing old and new. Letting your story show up in your space. I want homes that feel layered, lived in and deeply personal - something I echo often on my instagram page.
What has meant the most through all of this growth is realizing how many of you feel the same way. You want homes that reflect your life. You want to decorate with intention. You want to thrift thoughtfully. You want beauty - but not at the expense of meaning. That's the kind of community I'm so grateful to be building.
If you found me because of the plate wall - thank you for being here. If you've been here since the beginning - thank you for growing with me.
This little corner is about creating spaces that tell our stories. And I can't wait to keep doing that together!
